Little Ruben Recieving His Bobcat Badge for Boy Scouts

Today January 27th is a good and a sad day for our family. Today is the 23rd anniversary of the death of my husbands brother and the 2 year anniversary of my mother's death, and our youngest son recieved his Bobcat Badge at Boy Scouts we are very proud of him. Kind of mixed emotions on this day. But I would like to share with you are happy moments of our son recieving his badge. Ruben joined the Boy Scouts about a month ago and seems to like it, He's been wanting to join ever since Letticia was in the Girl Scouts, Well now he's old enough and he likes it. He goes every Thursday after school and has Pack Meeting once a month to recieve their new badge's. When he recieved his badge I had to go up there with him and he got to put a Bobcat Pin on my jacket and we took a pic.






























When all the Boy Scouts recieved their badges, they had some games ready for them to play in the next room they all had fun. There was a basketball game, a insect jumping game and a fishing game that Ruben had time to play then it was time to go. We are very proud of Ruben for earning his first badge and we wish him luck as he continues on with the Boy Scouts.

Crystiena's B-Day Party

Today we had Crystiena's Birthday Party, She had so much fun. We had a McDonalds Praty and all her friends came, infact there were 17 kids there and some adults. It was fun all the kids seemed to have a good time they played on the indoor play ground for a while and they were the loudest bunch of kids i've hurd :) but it was all good. They all ate cheese burgers and fries, played and ran around abit more then my sweet pie got to open her gifts and we all sang Happy Birthday to her and had cake and ice cream. I'm really glad we were able to have this party for her, she had been looking forward to her birthday, she deserved it all she's been such a good girl. She got lots of gifts, Barbies and play dough, color books, a cute baby doll, money $17 dollaars to be exact:) WOW she gets so excited. She went to the Dollar Store today and bought herself a Hannah Montana Doll she was so proud to pay with her own money. I can't believe our little one is growing up so fast. Well i'm glad she had a very nice birthday Happy Birthday My Love!

Hi, Well today our little girl turned 5, This morning i woke her up and sang Happy Birthday To You, and she just rolled over and covered herself right up, thats funny cause thats something we as grown-ups would do. :) Well she did get up and got ready for school and I fixed her hair really pretty and she wore a pretty dress and off we went. She had her Special Day at Preschool today, she took her "All About Me" Poster and cookies to share with her friends, Crystiena got to tell about her pictures on her poster and they sang Happy Birthday to her. O yea, they even made her a Birthday Crown to wear it's really cute, they make all of the little kids hand prints on paper and cut them out and make a crown. Later this evening I made a little dinner for her and her grandpa came over and ate with her and had cake and ice cream. Her cousins and aunt and uncle also came over later on and brought her some cupcakes :) She really likes cupcakes (who doesn't) :). Tomorrow she will have a Birhtday Party at McDonalds here in town and she has invited some of her little friends to come and share her Special Day with her.

How Time Flies

I can't believe how fast time goes by, I say this because in 4 day's our last child will be turnning 5, WOW! She has grown so much over the years and is just so cute, all the little things she does and how she plays, listening to all the cute little songs she has learned in preschool, just today she was singing the months of the year and I just stood there and listened to her as she sang happiley and she got them all right. This is her last year at Tiny Stars Preschool, then it's off to the BIG School, Kindergarden, I don't know if I'm ready for that she is our last one and it's going to be really hard, but we're proud of her. This year for her Birthday were doing the McDonalds thing she was really excited about it she has invited her friends to come and celebrate her special day with her, Oh yeah on the day of her birthday she will have her special day at school she can take a special poster we made all about her and her family, she will take treats to share with her friends in her class.

Our Trip To The Canyon

I would like to share these pics with you, I hope you like them. This is our trip to the canyon, that is our favorite place to go and just have fun with the kids. They love to go and just have lots of fun and take fun pictures. This is one of most favorite past times that we can all agree on doing We load up the van with blankets and extra clothing, just in case :) Oh yeah and you can't forget the bug spray! That is a must! Ruben will always get the cooler ready with munchies, the kids will always get hungry, so we take ham and hogie rolls, chips and some drinks. We try to eat first and then let the kids go on a little walk and have some fun, and if the water is not too cold, then they can get wet, and this was the perfect spot, but the water was kind of chilly. And you know, I can't even remember where this spot is :) Hopefully we'll be able to find it again, I just know that it was very nice and had lots of space and was very beautiful, next to the river, and had a great place to take these pics.

Ruben's Birthday 1-8-09

Well I never got to finish my blog for the 2009 start off, so i'm going to finish. On January 8th we had another birthday in our family, Ruben's day was here and he turned 37 :). He had a good day he went to school and when he came home the kids had made him a big sign saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD and they put it on the front door so he could see it when he came home. We made him a dinner, I made enchiladas, rice, and salad, with some help :) and Gracie made a nice cake for him it was really good. Oh and I can't forget the yummy cuppcakes that Alice made,they were really good. His brothers and their families all came over to celebrate with him. It was a nice evening Of course it was a long evening and the kids and Ruben had school the next day, but that didn't happen :) we were all to tired and said forget it and they all stayed home.

2009

A New Year has already started, and we have already had lot's of exciting things going on in our fanmily. We start the new year off with 3 new little babies born in December, a joy to our family. On January 4th we celebrated my birthday yea another year older 34 to be exact :) . Some of the family came over and we had dinner and my dad bought over a great cake yummy and i was spoiled, it was very nice i had fun.

Kindergarten Getting To Know you

Monday, January 12/2009 Crystiena our baby (4) started a new program at the Garland Elementry School, where Letty and Little Ruben go to school, Any way it's called Getting To Know You Kindergarden where the new kindergardener's that will be coming in next fall will be able to getto know the school better and the teachers that will be teaching them next school year. She had a wonderful time and made a pretty picture of a snowman with paint, she was very proud of it. Well I have to say I was proud to take her she was so cute andand very excited to go, because Letty and Ruben were there also. But I broke down and cried a few tears:( It made sad to see my baby go to the big school and not just preschool. Our baby is growing up to fast. She'll be going only once a month, they have to make two sessions there was 50 kids there that first day and they were expecting more next time.Their biggest class
